Key West Scooter Tour

Key West is about 6 square miles of land. And although a bicycle is tempting and great exercise, you will enjoy the ability to ride the entire island in half a day!
A two person scooter runs around $45 for 3-4 hours depending on what company you go with. Gas is included. Instruction given based on your experience. Having grown up on a moped and Harley, a quick run through and we were off!!! ..... Very slowly.. ha! But it's nice knowing that these machines are not Ducati's and max out at 42MPH.
These maps are all over Key West. The person that rented us the scooter gave us a highlighted 3 hour tour.
Starting at Mallory Square, here is THE SCOOTER TOUR:

1. Fort Zachary Taylor State Park
One of the best beaches. Fantastic historical site and views. $5 to enter via scooter.

2. Southern Most Point
If you don't want to stand in line, just stand to the side like we did and SNAP!!! Done. No standing in line for 20 mins. But if you want to TOUCH and take your time, then yes, stand in line.
3. South Beach
For a Scooter riding/Ocean pic
4. Higgs Beach
Also rated one of the best beaches in Key West. There's lots to do here! Besides a beautiful beach, check out The Garden Club/West Martello Tower and eat at the road side hotdog stand... You won't regret it!
Continue along the beach and stop or turn whenever you want! You never know what you will see!

Other places you can head to are down Duval St., Key West Cemetery, Hemingway House, Truman Annex, The Lighthouse just to name a few!
If you've been to Key West and didn't see a suggested scooter stop, list it below! -Aaron
